Description

McLarty Associates isseeking a motivated, resourceful, highly organized individual for a full-time, Associate position to support one of the firm’s Senior Managing Directors.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting research and analysis of economic, political, trade, technology, public policy, international, financial, and business issues;
  • providing administrative support to the Senior Managing Director (coordinating and maintaining schedules, completing expense reports, event planning, making travel arrangements, etc.);
  • monitoring news outlets for relevant energy/critical minerals policy developments;
  • compiling biographies, preparing presentations and client deliverables;
  • assisting firm-wide communications and collaborations;
  • attending and reporting on speeches, panel discussions, and policy forums of interest to the firm and clients;
  • other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates for this position possess a broad understanding of international politics, economics, trade, technology, government relations, business, and entrepreneurship. Proficiency in one or more foreign languages is preferred, as is experience or interest in energy policy and critical minerals. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.

  • proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and other business applications and media platforms.
